Thomas Ankersmit’s “Live in Utrecht” album has made the PopMatters “Best Experimental Music of 2010” list, at position #4. They write: “This Dutch-born Berliner has produced a recording that perhaps sets a new bar for live electronic performance. While many drone or noise acts might fail to stimulate the non-converted, Live in Utrecht is intriguing enough as an artistic statement to attract those uninitiated to this kind of music.”
